MOVIES: First pic of the new T4 Bumblebee

    Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherMay 30, 2013Updated:May 30, 20134 Comments1 Min Read

Looks like all the Autobots are getting updates for the upcoming Transformers 4 movie.  Today, we get a peek at the new Bumblebee.

So is this Bumble-WHEE, or Bumble-meh?  Though it does tie directly to product placement and toy sales, I’m always bothered by updates that have no real reason or necessary explanation for the change.

They’re robots in disguise. They were outed. They have to change their disguise?

I wanna know how they get past having a half of a Robo-planet hanging out in the sky.

Massive explosions every other second masks Unicron hovering over the Earth.

If it was for security issues they would change maker and model each time they leave their HQs.

Product placement, Heck I wouldn’t be suprised if they have Metroplex as a KFC/McDonalds/etc.

I would be glad to see if not every dang robot was a shiny new brand x car/ truck.I don’t particularly mind a little product placement here and there (its the biz) but being beat upside the head every two minuets grinds my gears.

Well maybe this is how movie Bumblebee will evolve into Goldbug.

      Ugh.
