    SOLICITATIONS: Bluewater Productions announces Vincent Price mini-series

    The Vincent Price brand at Bluewater has be a staple for years. This summer will start a new mini-series entitled “Vincent Price’s Museum of the Macabre.”

    Vincent Price, one of classic Hollywood’s most famous scary men, made a name for himself in classic mysteries and thrillers throughout the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s. Now “Vincent Price’s Museum of the Macabre” featuring adaptations of some of Price’s films as well as developing frightening new stories with his estate.

    Famed artist Robert Aragon will be doing the covers for this series.

    “As a young artist, I would send my artwork to Vincent for his thoughts and input. I feel he was instrumental in my creative and artistic growth and eventual success!” said artist Robert Aragon.

    Robert Aragon is a writer and self-taught artist. He is currently one of the leading fine art portrait artists in the world. His award winning art has exhibited internationally and is represented and protected by the very prestigious Bridgeman Art Library.

    One of his admirers was the late Vincent Price, whose friendship and guidance was both a personal and artistic inspiration to him. Aside from portraiture, his passion for classic horror and science fiction has lead him to a career spanning projects such as cover artwork for the Monstrous Movie Music label, trading cards, children’s books, graphic novels and everything in between.

    This summer the series will feature gothic horror stories by CW Cooke, Jon Judy & Bradley Sullivan with art by Luciano Kars, Luis Chichón, Cesare Tatarelli and Jill Lamarina.

    Bluewater’s has ventured into the horror world before with adaptations of the horror films “Leprechaun” & “Warlock’, as well as working with horror icon novelists such as John Saul and William F. Nolan.

    Bluewater is also releasing a new horror series later this month called “Ruth & Freddy” by Image Comics’ Taylan Kurtulus and Bobby Breed. A spin-off from the “Nanny & Hank “miniseries comes a new horror with a heart. Follow the high stakes adventures of rambunctious, wise-cracking grandparents Ruth and Freddy as they strive to understand why they’ve been brought back as zombies from the afterlife to save those they love from a global plague that threatens to engulf humanity when a cruel game of the Gods opens the gates of the underworld and the dead are unleashed upon the living to wreak havoc!
