TRAILERS: Kick-Ass 2 Red Band Trailer

Zach WoolfBy Zach WoolfMarch 19, 20133 Comments1 Min Read

We at Major Spoilers try to keep you up-to-date with the latest news in pop culture, but there are times when a perfect storm of everything else in our lives make it so we can’t update as much as we want, leading to missed stories. That was the case for the Kick-Ass 2 trailer that released last week, but now you can view and comment to your hearts content after the jump. Some NOT SAFE FOR WORK language is involved. You’ve been warned.

After viewing this trailer I decided that I need to go and finally read Mark Millar’s Kick-Ass. Feels like they are bringing the same tone from the first one and Jim Carey looks to be a great add-on. Does this trailer make you want to head out to theaters and watch this sequel? Let us know in the comments below!

    Kick-Ass 2 releases August 16th.

I definitely plan to see it, but probably not in theaters even though I’d like to (due to funds and bills and all that junk).

I was a little surprised that it took me a bit to recognize Jim Carey. He’s usually easier for me to spot, but it wasn’t until he did that smile/smirk that I realized it was him.

I have to agree. (actually on all points). Loved Jim Carey for 20 years now and didn’t recognize till bout the same shot. I hope I’ll be able to see it in theaters.

I was a giant fan of the first one, and this trailer looks like it’s bringing even more of the over the top violence and awesome characters. I’ve never actually read the comics, and definitely don’t plan to until after I see this one to not ruin any surprises. Really, really excited for it.
