    DIGITAL COMICS: Andrews McMeel Publishing announces deal with comiXology

    Andrews McMeel Publishing (AMP), the premier producer of cutting-edge comics and best-selling humor, cookbook, gift, and nonfiction books, has today announced a digital distribution agreement with comiXology – the revolutionary digital comics platform available across the iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle Fire, Windows 8 and the Web, that also boasts the consistently top grossing iPad app in the entire iTunes app store.


    AMP and comiXology celebrate this announcement with a launch featuring a select group of perennial favorites, including office drone hero Dilbert, by Scott Adams, the incomparable and iconic Doonesbury, by Garry Trudeau, and colorful sixth-grade star Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce across comiXology’s entire platform. Additional AMP releases will be available in future months.
