MOVIES: Pacific Rim has a full trailer and new posters

    Zach WoolfBy Zach WoolfDecember 13, 2012Updated:December 13, 20125 Comments1 Min Read

The world is coming to an end before the end of the month, which is sad because all the hype for Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim isn’t coming out till next Summer. In the mean time take the jump to watch the full length trailer and look at three new posters for the film.

I can’t wait to have a giant tub of extra-buttery popcorn in my lap and a large Mr. Pib in the cup holder as I sit wide-eyed soaking in all the mecha/kaiju fighting goodness.

    Now for a few posters:

Pacific Rim opens in the UK on July 12, 2013.

Definitely interesting looking. I’m a little confused as to how the whole, two-pilot thing will be explained. But the monsters and the mechs both look great.

Wow! I’ll buy a ticket to see that! Giant Mechs and Godzilla USA style! Of course, since it’s a Del Toro movie, the mechs will probably have eyeballs on their fingers…

I just hope that there’s not so much shaky cam that we won’t be able to see any of the cool designs in full detail without googling concept art.
