      Test comment is testing…

…startup test completed. Initializing bootlicking simulation: “Your podcast cured my psoraisis! The plot twists give my slash fiction new depth and vigor! Thanks to you guys, I have gotten back into crocheting ribald scenes from Dragonlance! ”
Initializing troll simulation: “tabletop iz ded!!! warrcraft 4eva!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! catz suck also!!!!!!”
        Sequence complete.

      “IT.DOESN’T.GO.WITH.MY.OUTFIT!!!” Enough said :)

      Great show as always!

By the way, did anyone notice that the latest Wonder Woman cover has a Candlehead on it? I haven’t read it so I don’t know if it shows up in the story or if it’s at all similar to Rodrigo’s…. It certainly doesn’t look as creepy as the CH version sounded…

    4. nordberg01 on June 3, 2012 10:14 pm

Getting ready to listen now. Would I be way off-base if I expect someone to make a “Time to do some Spring Queening” joke?

      • Stephen Schleicher on June 4, 2012 7:51 am

Yes. We take our game very seriously…

        • Matthew Peterson on June 4, 2012 12:15 pm

We take our game very seriously…

Plus, Rodrigo only allows jokes that he doesn’t catch. :D

    5. dp8351 on June 5, 2012 11:11 pm

Good episode – I liked Ket channeling the godsoul and radiating death energy. Nobody seemed really taken aback by that… haha. I guess they’ve seen enough weird stuff already – poor Trelle, though!

And because it hasn’t been said nearly enough lately – MOAR POKE!

Also, if the statute of limitations is up on these, can we get some answers to bizarre old questions?

      – How do Thony and The Queen’s Rebellious Daughter know each other? Also, who’s that queen?
      – Who does Resplendent Tiger work for?

      • Rodrigo on June 6, 2012 3:55 pm

The Critical Hit legal system is very complex, the statute of limitations is usually up until A) you find out or B) something happens rendering the point moot.

        Neither has happened.

      Gotcha, thanks.

      • zebsdead on June 8, 2012 4:41 pm

Thony and T.Q.R.D. were part of a group of adventurers during the Underdark War, although it was implied that T.Q.R.D. looked different then. Wish i could quote the episode where this info came up, perhaps the Critical Hit Historian can aid us……

        • Adriana on June 17, 2012 3:03 am

Thony talks to Randus about his adventuring days in #25, I THINK they question him about knowing TQRD in #39 (right after they regroup with him after meeting her)

          • zebsdead on August 11, 2012 7:04 pm

thank you, oh great Historian. Thy pod and thy cast, they comfort me. (make Rodrigo bring back Thony, and i will be your best friend. or, karmically indebted, whichever is more convenient for your schedule.)
            (Trowel rules.)

            Too soon?

    7. Michael Duff on April 11, 2013 10:40 pm

I know, it’s like Trelle is the only one exhibiting appropriate levels of fear and shock. I think of it like Scooby-Doo. Everybody thought Scooby and Shaggy were the weird ones but honestly, they were the only people acting normal.
