I kinda love the opening of this show…

There were two reds in in Shinkenger, i’m afraid to try to count, so there have been atleast 37 Red Rangers.

      also

Captain Marvellous is indeed the greatest red, if not one of the greatest rangers. They need a Marvellous/Tommy Oliver crossover.

      • Matthew Peterson on May 13, 2012 10:47 am

Don’t forget Akared, the combined force of all the previous Red Rangers, which would bring the count even higher. If you wanna get technical, there were TWO Red Vul Eagles in Sun Vulcan, as well…

Lol now I have a great urge to go back and count all the red rangers!

            Gorenger’s Akaranger
            Spade Ace from JAKQ
Battle Japan from Battle Fever J
            DenziRed from Denziman
Vul Eagle I & II from Sun Vulcan
            GoggleRed from Goggle V
            DynaRed from Dynaman
            Red One from Bioman
            Change Dragon from Changeman
            Red Flash from Flashman
            Red Mask from Maskman
            Red Falcon from Liveman
            Turbo Red from Turboranger
            FiveRed from Fiveman
            Red Hawk from Jetman
            TyrannoRanger from Zyranger
            RyuuRanger from Dairanger
            NinjaRed from Kakuranger
            OhRed from Ohranger
            Red Racer from Carranger
            MegaRed from Megaranger
GingaRed from Gingaman (who, by the way, has a legacy of previous Gingareds in continuity)
            GoRed from GoGo-V
            Time Red from Timeranger
TimeFire is technically a sixth ranger, but wears red
            GaoRed from Gao Ranger
            HurricaneRed from Hurricanger
KabutoRanger is also not necessarily a red but wears the color.
            AbareRed from Abaranger
            Dekared from Dekaranger
            Magired from Magiranger
Wizard Fire, another sixth ranger in red.
            Bouken Red from Boukenger
            GekiRed from Gekiranger
            Go-On Red from Go-Onger
            Shinken Red from Shinkenger.
            His mom.
            Gosei Red from Goseiger
Gokai Red, the aforementioned Captain Marvelous.
Red Buster from Go-Busters (New Jack hates him.)
AkaRed from the 30th & 35th anniversary seasons

Leaving out the Red Ranger from Ninja Captor (which was probably never an official Sentai series to begin with) and Akiba Red from Akibaranger (which is clearly identified as NOT officially part of Super Sentai canon), we’re still nearly 40. Of course, this doesn’t really raise the question of whether the American versions are separate Rangers or not, which would add another 25 or something…

Crikey! I didn’t recheck the thread before I did my own count! you really are a master!
I came to 43 Red Rangers, and depending on your count an +17 for the predecessors in Shinkengers and +132 for the previous generations in Gingaman.

              So a possible 192.

Since I made a spread sheet I might as well add.
              Blue: 37
              Yellow:34
              Pink:28
              Green:22
              Black:20
              White:12
              Silver:6
              Gold:7
              Orange:3
              Crimson:1
              Navy:1
              Purple:1

    4. J_Michael_T on May 13, 2012 9:42 pm

I think all episodes should end like this one…

    5. Sean Mulkerrin on May 19, 2012 1:18 pm

      I forgot Red Buster!
      Add a +1 to that.
