I like it when artists challenge themselves to do an original sketch a day. For some it might be a commission, for others it is a warm up. Whatever the reason, I’m more than happy to see what they are serving up. Today, it’s Gene Gonzales and his take on Hal Jordan.
I was up extra early today so here is an early morning warm up sketch that I colored in Photoshop. Below is the ink and marker version done on brown sketch paper.
