I never would have pegged Archie as a KISS fan.
Using the Francesco Francavilla variant cover as the teaser created severe disappointment once I saw that all the rest was just standard Archie artwork.
if “F.F.” is the one responsible for that HORRIBLE cover…. I had the opposite reaction to yours: I was horrified that they were going to do another “New Style Archie” that looked like watercolors-on-wet-cardboard, but was relieved to see that it was just a gimmick cover. :)
