The stick up his butt is made of adamantium.

I nominate this for “Line of the CENTURY”… ^_^

Yeah, these kind of fights just beggar the insanity of Wolverine. Technically, a punch from him would be similar to being hit with a frying pan, and he head butts Cyclops right on the visor, which should cause it to break so he gets a head full of force beam.

And then, when he DOES get a force beam is strong enough to strip away his skin, but apparently doesn’t do anything to his eyes or brain.

Last panel page 3: Wolverine rip a hole in the page?!

Who wins? The readers do, or rather those who needed a reason to stop reading X-Men comics…

If they didn’t have a huge influx from the AOA storyline I would probably agree with you.. but dammit I want to see whats happening from that era leaking over into the regular timeline!

Uncanny X-Force is great BECAUSE it’s self contained, I don’t think it’ll survive the multi crossovers that will certainly ensue with the new “choose your team” storyline.

Awesome fight. But, you know, the giant thingy made out of trash that is trying to crush them reminds of the scene in Card Captor Sakura where the Jump Card collects all the stuffed animals in the city to make a giant stuffed animal version of himself to crush little Sakura, only it doesn’t hurt her because it is made of plush toys. It sort of spoils the mood, you know? And what are Big Swinging Dick (cyclops) and Bigger Swinging Dick (Wolverine) fighting over? Who gets to date Kitty Pryde?

        Who’s on top obviously ;-)
