    BCC’11: More than 80 retailers attending convention

    In addition to the great line-up of guest for this year’s Baltimore Comic-Con, taking place the weekend of August 20-21, 2011, we are very pleased to have more than 400 artists and exhibitors and more than 80 retailers also attending the show!

    Looking for those few missing issues to round out a collection? Trying to track down that hard-to-find collectible? Well, look no further! From the Golden Age to the Modern Age, and everything in between, fans can find what they are looking for in the retailer section of the show floor. Vintage comics, apparel, toys, trade paperbacks, and hardcover collections are just a few of the types of items that are available from a great selection of retailers and exhibitors.

    Want to score that sweet sketch from the next superstar artist? Interested in discovering new independent press books or finding some great original art? Then Artist Alley is the place for you! With more than 400 creators and “Indy” publishers attending the show, Artist Alley caters to almost every genre and style, giving attendees the perfect opportunity to discover that “next big thing.”

    “Each year, we really strive to offer something for everyone at our show,” said Marc Nathan, show promoter of the Baltimore Comic-Con. “The creators, exhibitors, and retailers that attend the show make that possible. We couldn’t do it without them!”

    Third Annual Costume Contest at the Baltimore Comic-Con – UPDATED
    The 3rd Annual Costume Contest will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 3:00 pm. With $1,000 up for grabs for the best overall costume and prizes for each of the 10 categories, this is one event all of you cosplayers don’t want to miss!     This year’s Baltimore Comic-Con will be held August 20-21, 2011. Convention hours are Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. The ceremony and banquet for the Harvey Awards will be held Saturday night, August 21st.
