Looks pretty good. Pretty close on what the cartoon costume looked like.

The question is: will they have Rock doing those rhyming couplets and be a professional chef, like the cartoon roadblock?

This sounds so much more awesome than the first movie…

Adrianne Palicki: from Wonder Woman to Lady Jaye.

I will miss Rachel Nichols. Oh yes, I will.

But this film does indeed seem like it might be much better than the first…which wouldn’t be too much of an achievement anyway.

As long as they avoid stealing the plot of starwars IV’s death star, skip the excelerator suit and fire anyone who had anything to do with the original film then it might be good. Bonus points if you call it a reboot.

The Rock as Roadblock = best casting ever! I got my old figure right here and he is spot on.

Except for the uniform looking nothing like Roadblock’s, his not carrying an M2 and Rock not being black, you’re right.

I hate to say with this character and the characters from the first movie, is that military clothing, body armor, and weapons have taken a giant leap over when the GI JOE figures and cartoon was out in the early 80’s(most of the GI JOE character’s files,(Larry Hama) and though the cartoon point to service from WW2 (Generals in Washington), Korea (Doc) and Vietnam,(when almost all the Joes served). So Roadblock (the Rock) isn’t going to be lugging a Ma Duce, (M2 .50 cal machine gun). The current fire support is M240 S.A.W., meaning Roadblock can lug more ammo in a firefight…. Also apart from having the Rock as Roadblock you have to remember how massive Roadblock was,(the only other Joe to almost look him in the eyes was Gung-Ho . I don’t know what Michael Clarke Duncan is doing now, he would been the only other actor that I know that could fit Roadblock’s profile..

Is that a S.A.W. he’s carrying? They’ve wimped out Roadblock. His claim to fame was being badass enough to fire a .50 cal from the hip.
