    TRAILER: In Time

Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherJuly 22, 20115 Comments1 Min Read

One of the hot trailers to appear this week is 20th Century Fox’s “In Time” staring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried. The full trailer is now all over the Intardwebz, and is worth checking out.

In the future people stop aging at 25 and must work to buy themselves more time, but when a young man finds himself with more time than he can imagine he must run from the corrupt police force to save his life.

    More In Time Videos

I’ll give it to Timberlake, he has a knack for picking movies with out there story lines. And it took me a few moments to recognize Seyfried with that red dye-job/wig.

It’s got elements of Logan’s Run in there from what I can see.

I remember watching a short film in the ’90s that was similar. Where money was replaced by time. I remember because at the end the heroine marries some rich guy and she gives necklaces to her friends, beads representing the time people had. Her friends fought over the necklaces, dropping time beads on the ground. Also as a bit of a metaphor people were playing slot machines trying to win more time. Yes, people were wasting time on slot machines :)

My brother’s in this movie. He has a few lines, then gets shot like 12 times by the guy from “I am Number FOUR”

I love the concept. Love love love!

Funny you should mention “the guy” from “I am Number Four” – I’m so damn excited that Alex is in this one! Woah!
