Good news, everyone! The stars of sci-fi satire FUTURAMA will be jetting in to MCM Expo London Comic Con to give fans the inside scoop on SIMPSONS creator Matt Groening’s critically-acclaimed, Emmy award-winning cartoon.
The brilliant BILLY WEST (Philip J. Fry, The Professor, Dr. Zoidberg, Zapp Brannigan); PHIL LAMARR (Hermes Conrad); LAUREN TOM (Amy Wong) and MAURICE LA MARCHE (Kif Kroker) will be taking to the stage at the UK’s biggest pop culture event next month to discuss all things FUTURAMA, as well as meeting fans and signing autographs.
Set in New New York at the turn of the 31st century, FUTURAMA follows the adventures of cryogenically-frozen pizza delivery boy Philip J. Fry and the other employees of interplanetary delivery company Planet Express. The show’s own journey has also been an eventful one, with grass roots support and overwhelming critical praise helping to save it from cancellation. Love for FUTURAMA remains just as strong today, with the series scooping a Guinness World Record for ‘Current Most Critically-Acclaimed Animated Series’ in 2010.
