    25. GeorgeDubya on April 27, 2011 11:46 am

Now that I’ve had a chance to sit and listen to the episode and heard the multiple references to Doctor Who, I feel obligated to reveal to the world my middle name.

      Adric

And yes, my parents are giant nerds and I love them for it.

    26. Mela on April 27, 2011 12:05 pm

Awww, so cute! Congratulations, Stephen! Did you name the little one LegendsoftheDarkKnight Schleicher?

      • Stephen Schleicher on April 27, 2011 2:22 pm

No, beccause i want this to be something that is ongoing for a long time instead of being cancelled too soon.

Yay for the Schleichers! Hope you manage to get some sleep in the near future.

    31. Ricco on April 27, 2011 2:44 pm

      Congratulations!!!

Now that you have officialy named your older son I can point out that you let his name slip in the Thanksgivng eppisode… I’m a nitpicking, OCD accountant, not point it it out was killing me.

    32. Dude X on April 27, 2011 3:37 pm

Congratulations on the new little nerdling, Stephen!

    33. SpiderLover on April 27, 2011 5:20 pm

      Congratulations Happy for you!

    34. MiskatonicRich on April 28, 2011 4:53 am

Mozel tov! on the joyous birth.

Big Ups to Matthew for giving Quack and Chikara some love. I listened to the Smart Wrestling Fan podcast for years and one of the former co-hosts (wiggly) did all the production of web content (podcast a go go) for them.

Dream Team up…cross universes…could never happen?

Hummm, I don’t do fan fiction (reading, writing or looking at) but if I had to pick a dream project it would be Veronica Mars as the companion to the 10th Doctor. maybe not a full arc, just a x-mas special or something but I would love to see the interplay between 2 of my favorite characters.

keep up the great work guys.

    35. rocknrollnurse on April 28, 2011 3:55 pm

i listened to this `cast this morning, fashionably late – as usual. stephen`s announcement deserves a round of high-fives, and a hearty hip-hip-hoorah for the woman INSTRUMENTAL in creating the newest dynamic duo. glad all are safe, well & home, and best wishes for continued joy.

    36. TorontoFrog on April 29, 2011 1:07 pm

If rocknrollnurse is fashionably late, I guess I am unfashionably late! Anyway, congrats Stephen and moreover Mrs Schleicher! Great news!

I listened to this awesome podcast while on the plane, coming back from asia and knowing that I won’t be able to cure my jetlag by a little nap at home because of the 5 months old there and his sleep deprived mother. So, as a father of 2 including a newborn, I strongly suggest the wakeup pills or the red bull!

    37. Damascus on May 2, 2011 10:56 pm

Congrats on the baby! Best of luck man, I’ve got a 3 year old and a 9 month old, so I’ve been in your shoes too and I’m only just starting to get some real sleep at night.

About the best Team-Ups, I had a couple ideas and a few I was surprised that nobody mentioned on the show. The earliest Team-Up things I really recall were some of the early Universal Monster movies, Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman from 1943 and then later Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein from (1948), which lead to the series of Abbott and Costello Meets (Invisible Man, Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, and The Mummy).

Another great team-up was the Batman Meets Scooby Doo episode, and the Scooby Doo Meets Don Knotts, always great for a laugh.

Comic related is pretty much anything/anyone meeting Ash from Army of Darkness. That character can work with anyone to bounce the snark off of, whether they be just as big of a smart ass or some stoic character. Hence the reason I’d like to see Ashley J. Williams paired up with a multitude of different characters. I’d love to see the interplay between Ash and Duke Nukem, especially since Duke owes a lot of who he is to Ash.
