The Hello Kitty menstrual pads. Not only did they have Hello Kitty on the wrappers, the covers were quilted with Hello Kitty’s mouthless little face. The mental image of these things in use was enough to knock the Hello Kitty vibrator (sorry, “hand massager”, uh huh) out of the top spot for Weirdest HK Merchandise.
#3 spot is the Hello Kitty toilet paper.
My friend brought to work the Hello Kitty Duct tape. Yeah, he’s a little strange.
