I’ll try, but some of them are difficult without their trademark uniforms.

Back Line, by tank, Left to right: Psylocke, Nate Grey?, Candlejack?, Jubilee, Storm, Magneto, Namor, Some Shi’ar guy(Probably the Guardian), and Angel

Frontline: Crouching Guy could be Cannonball/Beast/Havok, Gambit, Rogue, Cyclops, Colossus and Dazzler?/Sex changed Cable?/Polaris?

I’m not super up on the X-Men. Anyone else have a better idea?

Back: Psylocke, Hellion, Sunspot?, Jubilee, Storm, Magneto, Namor, Warpath? (dude looks too scrawny though), Angel? Cypher? Cannonball? (he looks pretty generic)

Front: Wolverine? (That helmet is making me think Avalanche), Gambit, Rogue, Cyclops, Colossus & Dazzler.

            I tried.

We’re led to believe that mohawk dude is Berzerker, and blonde-guy is Cypher. Helmet-bro in the front is indeed Avalanche.

i think my guess is better, back: psylocke, hellion, sunspot, jubilee, storm, magneto, warpath, legion, cypher (doug ramsey). front: avalanche, gambit, rogue, cyclops, colossus, dazzler. i still don’t know the plot or storyline behind this though. looks like a major reinvention of all xmen characters, heroes and villains alike but i hope this is only temporary or just an alternate reality, i like the current one much better

Can I please have an apocalypse where Wolverine *doesn’t* survive? Also, while I’m asking, I’d like an X-alter-verse where mutants aren’t being hunted towards extinction. I’m not counting “House of M” since that has more to do with the whole Marvel U than the X-Men.

I am so with you! I wish they’d just dealt with him as a notable dead mutant or something. That dude is seriously played out.

        Bachalo Cover:
Warpath, Wolverine, Jubilee, Nightmare (Pixie/Angel), Rogue & Onyx

        Coipel Cover:
Avalanche (maybe they may make him Rictor), Gambit & Rogue
Psylocke, Sunspot (could be Havok), Basilisk (Cyclops), Colossus, Dazzler (could be Domino)
Hellion, Jubilee, Storm, Magneto, Namor, Gladiator (Shi’ar dude is not called Guardian, but could be Legion or Berserker), Blonde dude could be: Havok, Cypher, Cannonball or Elixir, my guess is Elixir

Has anyone seen the other preview at http://www.wired.com/underwire/2010/12/age-of-x-alpha/?pid=2393, apparently Black girl with short hair is not the same as Storm (they both appear in preview page 2). I have no idea who that girl is…

        Other known characters:
Phoenix, Chamber, Toad, Rockslide, Mercury, possibly Husk, Kavita Rao, possibly Madison, Mystique, maybe shadowcat (from preview post card)

That’s Frenzy, first seen in early issues of X-Factor V.1.
