28 Days of Geek Giving: Action Figure Displays Christmas Set

Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherNovember 26, 20102 Mins Read

If you are looking for a way to get your action figures into the holiday spirit, look no further than Action Figure Displays, and their brand new Christmas Display.

Just in time for the holidays, the company’s latest offering is a nice snow scene that is perfect for your holiday figures, or that ice-themed hero or villain.

The construction of this set is like others in the company line – Gatorboard (extruded polystyrene foam board bonded between two layers of wood-fiber veneers), that are joined by adhesive hinges.

Ideally designed for figures in the 3-inch to 7-inch range, you can use this set to display larger figures if you set it up right.

The theme of this set is very limited, and unless you have a holiday theme you want to show year round, chances are this limited edition item will only appear between November and January each year.  But, for $19.99 this is a fun way to show off your action figures during the holidays.

If you are looking for a quick way to liven up your collection room, or want to get a unique gift for the collector in your life, this is a nice idea.  Shave a half star off for the limited nature of this set, and I end up giving the AFD’s Christmas Display 4.5 out of 5 Stars.

    Rating: ★★★★½
