Wow… that did not look good. Just terrible.
hmmm…
Arkham Asylum has really spoiled me as far as comicbook tie ins go.
The game has to both capture a character’s essence and be immensely playable. I don’t think a captain America game can do both; especially if it takes itself as seriously as these trailers lead us to believe.
I don’t know, I think it looks pretty great. Obviously it is ripping off Arkham Asylum, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I love that Cap actually looks like Cap, and being able to play the Shield Slinger would be a lot of fun if the combat is as well done as Arkham.
I do hope that we’ll be able to throw Cap’s shield in this game. I saw a little of the Prince of Persia style games with the gymnastics on the scaffolding too. Hopefully this is more of some early previews of the game that are pulled together later. I loved Batman: Arkham Asylum as much as the rest of you did, but there is plenty of room for faster paced games. Batman would have 4 people to fight at one time and then nothing but puzzles to solve for an hour. I’d like to play more of a fighting based game for this one.
