Lois Lane’s mother is… Lois Lane

Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherSeptember 23, 20107 Comments1 Min Read

While I’ll always remember Teri Hatcher as the ditsy girl who always got MacGyver into trouble, more know the actress as Lois Lane in Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman that ran from 1993 to 1997.  As the final season of Smallville ramps up on The CW, new plots and big name actors are starting to show up on the cast list.  Hatcher is the latest to appear on the show, and she’ll play Lois Lane’s mother.   Hatcher is scheduled to appear in episode eight of the series, and I’m guessing she’ll only be in for an episode or two at most.

If The CW and Warner Bros. really wanted a moment that would go down in history, they would get Hatcher (Lois’ mom), Erica Durrance (current Lois), and Margot Kidder (as Bridgette Crosby) to appear on screen at the same time.  Of course if they really wanted to make the Lois Lane circle complete, they’d figure out a way to get Noel Neill and Kate Bosworth in the show, too.

That is one HOT picture. I don’t care if I get flack for it. Teri is hot as hell and my favorite Lois of all time. Now, the show she was on wasn’t nearly as great … but she is a stunner in my book. Hubba hubba…

(people do actually give me crap for liking her both as Lois and in general.)

I dunno, “Lois and Clark” had it’s moments. Granted, most of them were humorous or cheesy moments, but still…

Hey, I’m with you here. Lois and Clark was not so much a Superman show, but still good nevertheless. They actually made Lois relevant in the show and put the focus on well, Lois and Clark instead of just a guy in tights battling things. It’s probably why it crossed a lot of different target groups at the time and pulled in decent numbers. Plus, Margot Kidder looked like she was carved out of wood, Kate Bosworth had almost no charisma (at least nothing that made me care about her) in Superman Returns, Erica Durance is good but I haven’t really watched Smallville in a few years so I don’t care too much there. Teri is tops for my money.

Oh good god! She was the only reason I watched that show.

She’s on that show! The Merry Wives of Wisteria Lane, or whatever.

      Teri Hatcher is beautiful.

Who didn’t think she was at least “cute” on Lois & Clark? Go back and watch her in in “Tango and Cash”…that’s what when Terri Hatcher was hella sexy! With the current anemic/anorexic/Stepford standard of the beauty in Hollywood, I find her to be literally a shadow of her former self now.

Isn’t Lois’s Mom dead on the show?
