Bluewater Productions may be legal wrangling with Lady Gaga and that Bieber kid, but it isn’t stopping them from cranking out a brand new bio comic about Betty White. The issue will be written by Patrick McCray.
“Working on the Betty book was an honor and a blast,” McCray said. “While covering a new entertainer is always fun, there is something special about profiling an icon. Not only did it allow me to savor nostalgia, it also let me catch up on areas of pop culture that had passed me by.”
“Betty White has had such an amazing entertainment career,” said Bluewater president and founder Darren G. Davis. “It’s one that has now spanned more than 70 years. The biggest challenge that the creative team behind this book faced was figuring out how to include as much of this career as possible in one comic.”
Female Force: Betty White arrives in November.

What is the deal with the Female Force thing? Sounds like they’re making Betty White into an action hero.
It’s their way of trying to make money off of someone else’s name. Then again, I’ve already postulated on another Bluewater announcement my feelings of how their method doesn’t look like it’d really bring new people into a comic book store.
