Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherJuly 24, 20103 Comments2 Mins Read

    DC nation panel

Here’s a roundup of news we’ve gathered together from DC about things to come and things that might be.

    BRIGHTEST DAY

    • Apparently, anything created with the white ring is permanent.

    GENERATION LOST

    • The next story arc will see more attention paid to Captain Atom.
    • The JLI will fight the Metal Men. According to Aaron Lopresti, the fight will be 22-pages long.

    JIMMY OLSEN

    • Chloe Sullivan is coming to the DCU. She’ll appear in an upcoming Jimmy Olsen co-feature.

    TEEN TITANS

    • Brand new characters on the way.

    JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA

    • The League will take on the Crime Syndicate in issue #50

“This is going to be the team for quite some time,” Robinson said. “They’ve grown, and they are the Justice League.” They’ll be taking on the Crime Syndicate, with Supergirl taking on Ultraman, Jesse Quick against Johnny Quick, Batman vs. Owlman. “You’re actually going to see Superman and Hal Jordan being unable to help them,” Robinson said, adding that Superman is going to be confident in their chances of success. After this, an “interplanetary” event. (source Newsarama)

    THUNDER AGENTS

    • The team will be people who want to redeem themselves. I really suggest you check out the Major Spoilers Hero Histories for more on the team.

    WONDER WOMAN

    • You probably already know there JMS’s run on Wonder Woman features Diana in a new set of clothes, but it all relates to the story he is telling. If you are a fan of quantum physics, it will become more clear in the future.

More news as we get to it!

Thunder Agents sounds awesome! I really like that DC is taking chances with new teams and characters. And they seem to be working out better than Marvel’s experiments in the same area.

I love the fact that Chole Sullivan is finally coming to the DCU 10 years after her appearance, and as her relevance has vanished, as she has, from Smallville(only guesting this next and final season).

I am really looking forward to the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents. I hope they have Weed Wiley or his son, or grandson join up, but not make him a Rasta secret agent.

We’ll see if Chloe Sullivan actually comes to the title any time soon. I remember Didio said she was going to be appearing in Coutdown to Final Crisis also. Like many things Didio says … it never happened.
