LOL, websnap, I was thinkin’ the same thing!

Two thoughts on seeing the picture:

      1) That’s the same guy from Stargate Atlantis?

      2) He actually looks really close to the written description. Sun darkened skin, dark hair, scarred (bruises in the pic). Actually glad they didn’t use the Moe with a Mullet haircut.

And recently rereading all the stories, Rose McGowan is pretty much every female in all the stories.

Here’s hoping this isn’t Mutant Chronicles or In the Name of the King.

He has a sort of, forgive this if it seems derogatory, thuggish look. I think that works well for Conan.

This doesn’t look like some model with stylishly messed hair as much as a man who can take care of business yet has some charisma befitting the character.

@ray CHANGE IS SCARY ISN’T IT!? as far as description of the character goes, this Conan fits it WAY more than AHNULD ever did. i hope this movie isnt shit. but the casting, i think shows some promise.

I’m surprised Jason Momoa hair is long again. In his last few season of Stargate Atlantis he was having neck pain from his giant mop.

Agree that Momoa is a perfect Conan. Howard never described his Cimerian as musclebound as the last 2 actors, but “lean and pantherish.” Can’t wait for this one!
