Marvel Sneak Peek: X-Force: Sex and Violence #1

Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherJune 16, 20103 Comments1 Min Read

One might think that with a title like X-Force: Sex and Violence, there would be a mature rating on a book, but I didn’t see anything like that in the solicitation information Marvel Comics sent along with the sneak peek.

Don’t worry, there’s not much sex in the preview.

    X-FORCE: SEX AND VIOLENCE #1 (of 3) (MAY100647)
Written by CRAIG KYLE and CHRIS YOST
Pencils and Cover by GABRIELE DELL’OTTO

Get ready for the most intense, action-packed story Craig Kyle and Chris Yost have ever delivered as they join forces with international superstar Gabriele Dell’Otto for a X-Force story unlike any other! The Assassins Guild is after Domino and it’s up to Wolverine and X-Force to put a stop to them, but has Domino’s luck run out? Find out in X-Force: Sex and Violence #1!

The book has a cover price of $3.99 and arrives July 14, 2010.

I like how with all the hyper-violence the X-Force book has shown, the merest mention of sex and the book should be rated mature.

I get that its a joke, but most of America would rather their kids see a man with claws decapitate and eviscerate people repeatedly, then see a nipple. Craziness.

I don’t see a “only for 18 years and older” tag anywhere so I smell false advertisement ;-)

      where’s domino’s eyepaint/pigmentation disorder thing?
Don’t tell me that is the key to her powers of deus ex machina?
