Pelletier’s art looks clean and crisp. I don’t think I’ve ever seen some of those characters, though. Who are the gorilla guys, the goofy looking egg-head scientist guy, the…humanoid thingee that looks like it’s made of marshmallows or the old, balding guy with white hair and a red outfit?
In order they are: the Red Ghost’s Super Gorilla’s, who were granted powers and intelligence by a similar cosmic storm to the one that granted the Fantastic Four their powers. Next is Egghead. He is a genius who was a villain for primarily Henry Pym. He must have returned from the dead recently. After that is Awesome Android, created by the Thinker. Finally is the Red Ghost himself. The Russian foil of the Fantastic Four.
Well, let’s give this a try…
Balding guy with the red outfit is the Red Ghost (can turn intangible) and the apes are his minions the Super Apes: Mikhlo the Gorilla (superhuman strength and durability), Igor the Baboon (shapeshifter), and Peotr the Orangutan (magnetic control similar to Magneto).
The egg headed scientist is just that = Egghead (old Avengers villain, let the Masters of Evil for one incarnation. He’s your basic mad genius type of guy.
The guy that looks like he’s made of marshmallows is the Awesome Android, a creation of the Mad Thinker (also pictured). He’s extremely strong and durable and can copy a power of a person he touches.
Most of these are old school villians, so just let me know if you need help IDing any of the others…
Marshmallow guy is Awesome Android, (or Awesome Andy if you read She-Hulk a few years back), Egg-head is is name, and the Red Ghost and his soviet super-apes are the other guy
The egg-head scientist is oddly enough called egghead, who I thought was killed
The Thinker, The Wizard, The Leader AND Egghead? Holy crap, that’s some serious geeky street cred, there.
Jeff Parker and good art?? I’m in! Thank heavens Loeb isn’t writing it!
Loeb is writing it unfortunately. He’s the first writer credited.
Hey, thanks for IDing those characters, guys.
didnt Egghead die trying to mess up Hank Pym? And did Mad Thinker built another Aweasome Android?
