Having just read the entirity of the Threeboot Legion this past week and following Blackest Night…. This could turn out either way… but it will be interesting to see how!

Maybe it’s Vril Dox, he’s in the current continuity unlike Brainy.

It’s almost certainly Vril Dox (Brainiac 2 from R.E.B.E.L.S.). There’s been talk that a few mainline DC titles will have Blackest Night tie-in issues going forward, so I wouldn’t be surprised if DC’s other “cosmic” title (R.E.B.E.L.S.) were among that group.

No doubt. I just posted the same link over at Brian Hibbs’ SavageCritic.com re: his review of FC: Legion of 3 Worlds #5. It didn’t take DC long to put ol’ Prime to further use, did it?

If it was Braniac 5, heck, trade in that Legion flight ring, pal.

They are already using Prime again? Just when you think you can get away from him…

Oh Hell no! Tom freaking Welling Prime again!?

Given his role in the Sinestro Corps War it makes sense but I was hoping for at least a year or so before we have to hear his whining and moaning again.

The pic could still be Brainiac 5, since Superboy has a role in Blackest Night it could be an alternate cover for Adventure Comics, given how it has stories for both Superboy and Legion it would make sense.

virl had had the short buzz cut hair for most of his comic book existence with the white shirt black under that and black gloves and dc isn’t goinf to feature a book on brainiac 5 when there is no tie in book line to sell

Well, the Legion IS going to be appearing in Adventure Comics. I still say it’s Vril Dox, tho.
