    Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherJuly 23, 2009Updated:July 23, 2009No Comments3 Mins Read

    Press Release

Over the years, Dark Horse has been committed to incorporating art into our everyday lives through prints, T-shirts, mugs, and a variety of other items that help make this world more colorful. With this in mind, Dark Horse is proud to collaborate with GelaSkins to bring over twenty new designs to their line of protective skins for laptops and phones.

Featuring designs from Hellboy, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Goon, The Umbrella Academy, Yoshitaka Amano, The World of Mr. Toast, and Kris Kuksi. Upcoming releases will include Frank Miller’s Sin City and 300. The new line of GelaSkins is the perfect way to protect your technology while showing off your signature style.

The special Dark Horse GelaSkins are scheduled to be released in August of this year and will be available to order from gelaskins.com. However, as an added bonus to San Diego Comic-Con attendees, a select number of advance skins will be available for purchase at the Dark Horse booth, #2615.

    About GelaSkins

GelaSkins, Inc., was founded in 2005 to provide the highest level of quality possible in personalized protection for mobile devices, working with over one hundred artists and designers from around the world to present an incredible collection of fine art ranging from Renaissance paintings to graffiti and everything in between, including companies like Red Bull, EA Sports, deviantArt, Adidas, Microsoft, Lenovo, Universal Music, New Line Cinema, Google, Medtronic, Snapple, Taco Bell, Wired magazine, and many more.

GelaSkins can be found in retail outlets in over fifty countries around the world. From exposure in high-end consumer electronics stores like Fry’s Electronics to trendy stores like Urban Outfitters, GelaSkins’ quality products and wide range of designs have been a hit across all demographics. There are several new collaborations coming in 2009, as well as a great deal of increased exposure through online communities/sources such as Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and the iPhone App Store. The retail network is growing every day, and satisfied customers return again and again to find the latest designs.

    About Dark Horse Comics
Since 1986, Dark Horse Comics has proven to be a solid example of how integrity and innovation can help broaden a unique storytelling medium and establish a small, homegrown company as an industry giant. The company is known for the progressive and creator-friendly atmosphere it provides for writers and artists. In addition to publishing comics from top talent like Frank Miller, Mike Mignola, Neil Gaiman, Gerard Way, and comics legend Will Eisner, Dark Horse has developed such successful characters as the Mask, Timecop, and SpyBoy.
Additionally, its highly successful line of comics and products based on popular properties includes Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Aliens, Conan, Emily the Strange, Tim Burton, Trigun, and Serenity. Today, Dark Horse Comics is the third-largest comic-book publisher in the U.S. and is recognized as one of the world’s leading publishers of licensed comics material.
