And the Intardwebz seem to like it. It’s looks pretty trippy, but I expect nothing less from Tim Burton.

eh….i was hoping for American McGee’s Alice….but alas that day will never come.
I’m a big fan of Mr. Burton’s and this looks visually stunning. His take on Wonderland will be unlike anything we’ve seen on the big (or small) screen. Very much looking forward to this film! :)
Love the books.
Was interested when I saw the article.
Played the trailer.
Was turned off 19 seconds in when Tim Burton’s name showed up.
More so when Johnny Depp’s name appeared.
Did anyone watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I could only watch about 15 minutes before I turned it off.
On the one hand, I like the look of this and Burton is the natural choice to be doing it (though, once upon a time – like ten years ago – I would have said M. Night Shitmylan also had the chops for a surreal movie like this).
Trouble is, Burton’s stuff is so…Burtonesque?…you can’t tell where one thing ends and other begins. I mean, honestly, I have expect Michael Keaton in full cape and cowl to jump out and start kicking the Mad Hatter’s ass while Ompa Loompa’s sing “And where is the Batman?!”
Y’know?
