Morgan.

In regards to the Sonic Comics – I saw a lot of Steven Butler’s original pages for the Somic books at the Jackson Comic Con this past weekend, and I must say that he does some pretty sweet art, and is a great guy to talk to. While I was there waiting for my Captain America sketch, I would bet 90 percent of the people that came up to him were Sonic fans asking for sketches of those characters. Most of them had no idea of his history with the original Web of Spider-Man, Silver Sable and all the others from back then!

The “New Look” stories have been good (Steven Butler did the New Look designs). I’ve read them all and just picked up Archie Double Digest #200 last night for Katie. It is nice that they seem to focus on a different character every few months, and rotate it between their Double Digest.

Whoever says anthologies don’t sell need to look at Archie Comics and their marketing model. It is very nice to be able to find them in the grocery stores and even Wal-Mart!
