    SDCC’09: Mark Waid to sign Irredeemable #4 variant

    Boom! Studios Editor-in-Chief, Mark Waid will be signing exclusive Comic-Con ’09 copies of Irredeemable #4, and a limited edition hardcover of The Incredibles: Family Matters.  The Irredeemable issue features a sketch variant cover by John Cassaday, while the Incredibles hardcover features art by Mike Mignola.

    Waid will be signing at the BOOM! Studios booth on Preview Night, Wednesday July 22nd from 7-8pm, Thursday July 23rd from 12-1pm & 6-7pm, Friday July 24th from 2-3pm & 5-6pm, Saturday July 25th from 5-6pm and Sunday July 26th from 2-3pm.

    Additionally, Waid will be signing an Exclusive Comic-Con ’09 Limited Edition Hardcover of THE INCREDIBLES: FAMILY MATTERS along with THE MUPPET SHOW COMIC BOOK’s Roger Langridge and CARS: THE ROOKIE’s Alan Porter as part of a series of group signings on Wednesday July 22nd from 6-7pm, Thursday July 23rd and Friday July 24th from 11am-12, Saturday July 25th from 10am-11 and Sunday July 26th from 11:30am – 12:30.

    The Exclusive Comic-Con ’09 Limited Edition Hardcover of THE INCREDIBLES: FAMILY MATTER, THE MUPPET SHOW COMIC BOOK, AND CARS: THE ROOKIE will only be available at these signing times and are first come first serve. Each hardcover will be limited to 250 copies. Waid, BOOM!’s Editor-in-Chief, will also be moderating a host of high-profile panels with a host of high-profile talent from comics of yesterday and today.

    On Thursday July 23rd, Waid will be moderating the Spotlight on Jerry Robinson Panel in Room 4 from 1:30 to 2:30pm. Later that same day, Waid will moderate the Spotlight on Gail Simone Panel in Room 5B from 4-5pm. On Saturday July 25, Waid will be moderating the Spotlight on Sheldon Moldoff  Panel in Room 10 from 11:30-12:30pm.

    Friday July 24th, Waid will be wearing his Editor-in-Chief hat during the BOOM! Studios panel in Room 32AB from 1-2pm. In the past year, BOOM!
