I got wind of this a few months ago. My 10-year-old sister & I agree that, bar ‘Coraline’, this may be the best kid’s animated film to come out this year. It looks fantastic.
Anyone who’s interested in this should do themselves a favor and check out the original short that it’s based on. Good stuff.
Saw the trailer before Coraline and was so excited. May be the third movie I see in theaters this year … it looks like it will be less a “kids” flick, which is a plus.
I have to agree with JOSH, check out the original (Shane Acker short) to really get amped about this. Although I am curious to know if the original is a GINORMOUS possible spoiler for this film, so watch at your own risk. However, I will definitely be at the theater for this little gem, no doubt.
I’ve known about this since last year I think. For me the most notable thing about it is that a ragdoll has its soul pulled out of its body.
