    Final Crisis Aftermath, Shocking. Shocking!

    Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherApril 30, 2009Updated:April 30, 20096 Comments1 Min Read

DC Comics has guaranteed that Final Crisis: Aftermath will feature one shocking moment in every issues.

Here’s the image that the company released on The Source website.

    Let’s see

    • Fat guy in spandex
    • Fat hairy naked ass
    • Plastic woman

Nothing too shocking there, sounds like the stuff you see at a comic book convention.  Let’s hope the rest of the issue has something truly shocking – like a cover price lower than $4.99.

The fat guy is wearing the costume of Rising Sun, the Japanese member of The Global Guardians.

They always said Wonder Woman was perfect, so I don’t know _why_ I didn’t presume she’d be that flexible. Man, did _my_ imagination just go crazy-go-nuts….

Nobody cares about any of these minis…Does DD have a clue? Are they selling at all? The stuff coming out of Marvel these days blows DC away and Im a 20+ year DC fan.

      Naked Dan Didio? Check.

Wonder Woman homage to OMAC? Check.

      Boozy Retired Sun sighting? Check.

Desire to buy any of these books based on characters I don’t care about spinning (wildly) out of a mini that’s one of the most reviled events in the last half-decade? Ummm… no.

It would be really shocking if any of these Aftermath books were good.

I’m pretty sure the only shocking thing these books will actually deliver is the fact that they were greenlighted at all despite the overwhelming hate for FC proper (yeah, I know, it’s the sales that count). I’ll definitely stay far away from these.
