    President Likes Spider-Man AND Batman

    Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherFebruary 5, 2009Updated:February 5, 20095 Comments1 Min Read

Never wanting to make a Presidential endorsement, President Obama sidestepped a recent grade schooler’s questioning on his favorite superhero.

Man, that’s gotta cheese Marvel’s EIC Joe Quesada off. I can just imagine the reaction to the news in the office of the House of Ideas…

    INT. JQ HQ. DAY
An exhausted intern rushes into the palacial office of Joe Quesada quite out of breath.

    Intern: (out of breath)
    News from the front, sire!

Joe Q: (views the video clip, then becomes quite enraged)
He likes Batman too!? We’ve got the guy on the cover of Amazing Spider-Man, the issue reprints five times, and he likes Batman equally? How many covers of Batman did Obama appear on? None I tells, ya! None!

    Star wipe to BLACK.

    Ah good times.

Maybe he liked Spider-Man more BEFORE he made a deal with the devil.

There was an article in the Onion last week where he kept on making Conan references and was upset because no one could understand him. Probably because of Spider-man, they made him a hardcore Marvel fan. The best line:
“…when Obama asked him what he knew about 1984’s Secret Wars. Gates then handed a visibly confused Obama 1,400 classified pages on covert CIA operations in El Salvador”.
