Zombie Omega, Inc. is pleased to announce The Minions of Ka has been optioned by Monsterfoot Productions. Producers Ahmet Zappa and Christian Beranek have acquired the rights to the critically acclaimed graphic novel with the intent of turning it into a feature film.

To commemorate this event, Zombie Omega, Inc. is releasing the entire first chapter of The Minions of Ka on-line at www.minionsofka.com.

“This is a very exciting moment for us,” said co-Creator/Writer Michael Furno, “to have the opportunity to see your book made into a movie is about as cool as it gets.”

Steeped in historical fiction, The Minions of Ka represents an exciting re-imagining of the entire zombie genre. In this bold new world, many of history’s greatest disasters were actually results of attacks by the undead.

The Minions of Ka was created by Dave Wilbur, Michael Furno and Michael Ahearn and written by Michael Furno and Michael Ahearn. The book features interior art by Chris Moreno and Mario Boon and was edited by world-renowned horror author Jack Ketchum. The cover is a one-of-a-kind work of art produced exclusively for the project by legendary artist Ken Kelly.

The Minions of Ka was released in October of 2008 in a limited edition printing and is available now in stores and on-line. The book was produced by Silent Devil, published by Arcana Publishing and distributed by Diamond. A trailer for The Minion of Ka graphic novel is available on YouTube and ComicBookTrailers.com. Creators Michael Furno and Michael Ahearn will be signing copies of the book at the Arcana Studios table at New York Comic Con this weekend.
