But here he is anyway, in some dank corner of Eastern Europe, going toe-to-toe with an undead plastic surgeon and his flesh-eating clientele, contracted by the head of a greasy paramilitary unit to avenge the zombification of the guy’s young, ex-model trophy wife — and all because Wade’s dead broke.

MAJOR SPOILERS POLL OF THE WEEK
You know what would increase attendance at comic book conventions around the country? Cage matches. Not cage matches with the GLOW or those Octagon fighters, but epic battles between the Editor-in-Chiefs of the comic book publishing world.

Since the New York Comic Con is taking place this weekend, and since NYC is the supposed center of the universe, why not kick off these EIC Cage Match Battles with the head honchos from DC and Marvel.

    A) Joe Quesada
    B) Dan Didio

    MAJOR SPOILERS DISCUSSION
    SEX IN COMICS
This week on the Major Spoilers Podcast, the crew tackles the subject of Sex in Comics – not sex on comics, because, well, we keep falling off (ba-dum-bum).

What do you think of the portrayal of sex in the funny books? What should be allowed, what shouldn’t? How far is too far? What comics feature the best and the worst on the subject? It’s a topic that is deep, and one we’ll attempt to tackle.

      great show as usual.
what people don’t remember is that Quesada and Didio have already fought.
Quesada won but Didio ret-conned it and now it never happened.

Actually, the Yellowjacket/Wasp sex scene was written by Geoff Johns, not Chuck Austen. And they weren’t married at the time. (Nitpicky, nitpicky!) I am quite glad to hear you guys take a reasonable approach to that scene! There was so much violent reaction to that that I didn’t understand.

(I’m kicking myself for not getting time/privacy to pull out the mic and send in audio comments on this subject!)

You are correct, Doc… But either way, I didn’t see any reason for uproar…

Where is the “Luke Cage has anal sex with Jessica”-scene and the whole “Call me Uncle”-scene from Swamp Thing (the most creepy incest scene ever)???

One thing you missed on the Avengers sex scene:

Hank Pim doesn’t say “you’re welcome”, he says “Your turn” =P

If it wasn’t for sex in comics I would never had read Bondage Fairies.
