Dynamite Entertainment has sent Major Spoilers sneak peeks of three of its titles arriving in stores today.  Take the jump for Garth Ennis’ Battlefields: Dear Billy #1, Terminator: Revolution #2, and Xena vs. Army of Darkness: What, Again? #4.

GARTH ENNIS’ BATTLEFIELDS: DEAR BILLY #1
    Writer: Garth Ennis
    Penciller/Inker: Peter Snejbjerg
    Covers: John Cassaday, Garry Leach
    Colorist: Rob Steen

    Genre: HISTORICAL, WAR, ADVENTURE
More incredible stories from Garth Ennis as his “BATTLEFIELDS” series continues exclusively from DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT! For this second mini-series – DEAR BILLY – Garth is joined by artist Peter Snejbjerg and cover artist John Cassaday for a haunting tale of wartime in 1942…

1942: In the tropical splendor of the South China sea, as the Second World War spreads across the far east, a young woman finds herself in paradise… and then in hell. Nurse Carrie Sutton is caught up in the Japanese invasion of Singapore, suffering horrors beyond her wildest nightmares- and survives. Now she attempts to start her life anew, buoyed up by a growing friendship with a wounded pilot- only for fate to deliver up the last thing she ever expected. Carrie at last has a chance for revenge… but should she take it? In the midst of a world torn apart by war, you can fight and you can win- but you still might not get the things you truly want.

Also, features a variant cover by Garry (Dan Dare) Leach!

    TERMINATOR: REVOLUTION #2
    Writer: Simon Furman
    Penciller/Inker: Lui Antonio
Covers: Richard Isanove (75%) and Nigel Raynor (25%)
    Colorist: Adriano Lucas

    Genre: SUPERHERO, SCIENCE FICTION
The loss of the T-Infinity causes consternation and alarm within the Skynet Hub. Has it been destroyed? Captured? Could it be used against them? They have to know. Skynet preps an advanced Hunter/Killer in the form of a feral dog (known as a Dire Wolf) – sending it through time to salvage or destroy the T-Infinity, whichever comes first!

Thank GOD it’s over… I mean, this one was really running on fumes, wasn’t it? Four. Issues. Of. This. Oof!
But, when Dynamite gives you lemons you make lemonade (w/alternate covers) and that’s what we have here as we wrap up this mess by Brandon (I can do more than licensed books) Jerwa, Elliott (who am I again) Serrano and Miguel (never make fun of the artist, he’s the most important part of this mess) Montenegro!
