I’m starting to think that in “F&#% Continuity” that the dirty word is actually “continuity”….. At least, that’s what the Big 2 are leading me to believe. Maybe it’s the whole “let’s just tell a good story, and the facts be damned!” mentality, but… are the stories any good? Merrr… Only time will tell, I guess.

Frak Marvel. I’m not buying this Dark Reign, in the end it will be retconned (thanks Rodrigo!) by the likes of Mephisto, Uaatu … or by the Flying Spaghetti Monster himself. Why would Bullseye/Hawkeye require a mini? Are that many people driven to read that story? Especially when you consider the $3.99 price point. I’ve been a Marvel guy and always will, but the needless events and splash banners are just reaching ludicrous speed.

I actually like the concept of Bullseye parading around as Hawkeye and Barton having to deal with him. Sounds like a good time to me! Assuming they do it right, of course.

Also, I’m as sick of these giant events as the rest of you, but I think Dark Reign has way more potential than that Skrull crap.

The sad part is that if they hadn’t linked all their major events “70% cocoa chocolat reign with almonds… and possibly caramel” would have been a fun read, I always liked the idea of the inmates running the asylum.

Darn it! It’s supposed to read ““70% cocoa DARK chocolat reign with almonds… and possibly caramel”

I’m a DC-mark, and _I_ think this has more potential than “Evil Wins” or whatever the boop will follow “Final Car-accident…er, Crisis”.
