    DCU Classic Figures Wave 8

I can’t believe this collection is already up to the 8th wave – I’m still trying to get my hands on a complete 2nd Wave set!  With each preview I receive, I get more excited about this line, especially the build a figure feature.  I know it isn’t a new concept, but it is for DC figures, and the one in Wave 8 is a knockout.

Check out all the figure images after the jump!

    Wave 8 will include:

  • Hawkgirlâ„¢
  • Gentleman Ghostâ„¢
  • Dr Fateâ„¢ (with a chase classic version)
  • Parademonâ„¢ (both Red and Yellow versions split 50/50!)
  • Mr. Terrificâ„¢
  • Vigilante
  • Commander Steelâ„¢

I am not an actionfigure guy but….The Gentleman Ghost one is sure looking tempting.

I love the Mr Terrific and the Hawkgirl. Still won’t be purchasing them as like Lifeisaglitch im not an action figure guy

I am an action figure guy, but I’m not particularly interested in any of these.

I tend to stick to major characters or teams and, well, none of these guys feature as ‘major characters’ and collecting the whole of the JSA may well bankrupt anyone who tries, so …

I have a big collection of Direct DC figs, from the past 10 years, as well as bunch of Marvel Legends, so I’m pretty good to go… but I have some original DC Direct figs… like the Dr. Fate, and he is so hard to get to stand, this new one looks very good. The Hawk Woman is very nice too.

Marvel Legends the only ones I’m wanting or wish they’d do some nice classic version of are Storm, QuickSilver, & Ice Man. DC I’m pretty good to go.

Here is a great site for the listing of DC direct figs… the LSH are very nice. I don’t have them, but I’ve seen them. Click on year to see all of them. Most DC Directs are very nicely sculpted except for articulation, ability to stand and initial cost. These new ones (DCU) are very nice too. But I doubt I’ll go doubling up on figs I already have, unless I see them on clearance somewhere.

I love all these figures… Especially the Giganta.

Granted, I don’t have the MONEY for new action figures…
