    SDCC’08: Marvel Your Universe Panel

Another fast blast through the big talking points from today’s Marvel: Your Universe Panel after the jump.

    THORV2011_cvr_col.jpg

    • Hulk is considered a successful film as it made more than the first, and fans were told there is a Hulk sequel
    • Sony Fox will probably keep the X-Men franchise, while Fox Sony will keep Spider-Man.  That’s not much of a big announcement as that’s how the industry works.  Until the rights expire, I don’t think we’ll be seeing any of those characters showing up in Marvel produced movies anytime soon.
    • Since Dr. Doom was in the Fox Fantastic Four movie, he won’t appear in the Avengers
    • However, all five original Avengers members will be in the Avengers flick
    • Toad will return in the Wolverine and the X-Men cartoon airing in the spring on Nicktoons, as will 60 other mutants
    • No big news on the Thor movie (until next year), however, the characters will be treated like gods in the movie
    • It appears Fox is waiting for Wolverine to get out the door before it looks at the Silver Surfer script
    • Ryan Reynold is indeed Deadpool as seen yesterday during the Wolverine preview event

This must have been a very short panel as there didn’t appear to be a whole lot of questions and answered posed during the event. That or there were a lot of really long answers.

Array Avengers Deadpool dr. doom Fantastic Four Fantastic Four Movie flick Hulk Hulk Sequel mutants Nicktoons Preview Event Ryan Reynold Script Ryan Silver Surfer Talking Points Thor Movie whole lot Wolverine X Men Cartoon X-Men

Wait, doesn’t Sony own Spider-Man and Fox the X-Men?
