    Get Gene Gonzales Sketch

Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherJuly 15, 20081 Comment2 Mins Read

I really like Gene Gonzales’ work.  I’ve been following his sketchblog and have looked forward to seeing what new creation he has whipped up each day.  If you want to nab a Gonzales sketch, he selling 20 of them over at eBay.

Conventionless, Convention Sketches! This auction is for 20 convention-type inked sketches. Winners can get any single character sketch (no backgrounds) inked on 11″ x 17″ bristol board. Winner may have to supply references for character if I don’t have one or if I am not familiar with it. If you have seen the sketches that I do at conventions, you know that you get more than just a rough drawing. If you are not familiar with my sketches, some sample work is provided below. Artwork will be shipped each Friday and all artwork will be completed by August 8th. As the art is completed, I will email you with the image before it ships. Email me first if you have any questions.

My work has been published by DC Comics, Image, Caliber and others. Recently I finished the creator owned 4 issue mini-series DIARY OF NIGHT from Bloodfire Studio, a graphic novel from Moonstone Comics, McCANDLESS & COMPANY, and I’m working on a 3-issue creator-owned comic titled PERILS ON PLANET X, coming from Ape Entertainment. To see more of my work check out genegonzales.com and/or my daily art blog at http://genegonzales.blogspot.com.

I’m sure the pieces will go fast, so if you want one, better get it now.
