What do those silly Skrulls want with the heroes from the UK? We’ll find out in Captain Britan and MI: 13 #1, Marvel’s latest ongoing series spinning out of Secret Invasion.

Marvel has previously announced the series, but today sent Major Spoilers the variant cover by Brandon Peterson.

Take the jump for the full cover featuring a winged skrullified Ghost Rider – no wonder Marvel is the House of Ideas.

Yeah, it has been established in the MU that the Neatles are Skrulls who have been working for British Intelligence.

Love Captain Britain, but I enjoy him when he is portrayed as a BRITISH superhero and not an X-Man. Maybe this will satisfy that need somewhat.

One of the things I AM liking about Secret Invasion is the new Super-Skrulls. It’s a good idea that I am surprised hadn’t come up before

Thank goodness Joe Q put a talent like Cornell’s onto this series. It’s shaping up to be truly brilliant. I will purchase the Trade.
