Tales from Wonderland Arrives in April

Zenescope Entertainment has announced it will release three prequel issues to the Return to Wonderland series that arrived last year. The one shot issues will feature the characters The Queen of Hearts, The Mad Hatter, and Alice.

While each of the issues is a self contained story, Zenescope tells Major Spoilers there is a thread that reveals the origin of the company’s take on Wonderland.

“I think some of our readers want more insight into this world that we re-created, especially now with a sequel series coming up this summer.” said Ralph Tedesco, series co-creator and writer of the Mad Hatter one-shot. “Giving fans more backstory allows us to show that there’s a much bigger picture to this whole thing while also giving us the opportunity to have more fun with the Wonderland mythology. The stories are dark and disturbing but we definitely didn’t leave out the excitement.”

The Queen of Hearts will be released in April, The Mad Hatter in May, and Alice in June.

She wasn’t in the original tale when she was a little girl…now she is. Must be the hormones in the milk and beef.

Man Alice is looking good in that outfit! Thank Dupont for those hormones! Better living through chemistry, right?
