I haven’t picked up this particular X-men series in a while.
When did the art go to hell in a hand basket? Makes me wish I’d have pursued being a comic artist. Looks like they are taking anybody now days. Yuck. What a piece of dung.
Humberto Ramos: You either like him or you hate him.
I’m undecided at the moment.
I’ve always loved his style.
I enjoyed his early stuff, Impulse and X-Nation 2099. His more recent stuff has me on the fence.
Personally, from the art I’ve seen, I love his close shots, and loath his distance ones. It seems like he over-animates everything, which is great for facial features and expressions…but not body structure and language.
Ramos seemed better suited for Impulse than for X-Men, in my opinion, but I enjoy his work either way…
I’m just creeped out because my nickname used to be BUTCHIE.
I already miss John From Cinncinati.
