    Dark Knight v. The Geek

    Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherMay 21, 2007Updated:May 21, 20079 Comments1 Min Read

anthonymichaelhall.jpgThe LA Daily News has an interview with Anthony Michael Hall where he reveals he has a role in The Dark Knight.

“I signed a confidentiality agreement, and I can’t say which part I’m playing because it affects the story,” says Hall. “I can’t give away the suspense — it’s a $200 million surprise, and I don’t want to be the guy to ruin it.”

“It’s really a great role. I’m in throughout the whole movie, and I’m really looking forward to working with Christian and Morgan and all these real Hollywood heavy hitters.”

Cool! So who wants to speculate what role AMH will play? In the interview he talks alot about working with Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox) and Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne), so I am wondering if he is one of the good guys? Might be be another WayneTech employee who builds wondrous gadgets? Actually wouldn’t it be great if we could take the young AMH and turn him into Anarky?

I’ll let you talk it up in the comments section.

And while I’m at it, who would win in a fight: 1980’s The Geek from Sixteen Candles, or 1980’s Batman?

      My guesses are:

      Harold Allnut (crippled tech genius)

Actually, that’s my only guess. Maybe a cameo as the Mad Hatter?

      Mark
I thought the same thing at first, but that would require AMH to go all hunchback and creepy. Mad Hatter would be pretty cool though…

    3. Brent F. on May 21, 2007 8:37 pm

For some reason the first character to pop into my head was Thomas Elliot a.k.a. Hush.

    4. Mark I. on May 21, 2007 10:08 pm

The Geek as Hush would be some ballsy casting.

    5. Stephen Schleicher on May 21, 2007 10:57 pm

AMH as Thomas Elliot would be a really good casting movie – although in light of who the villain and potential villains are – he wouldn’t be a brain surgeon, but rather plastic surgeon who works on Joker and later Harvey Dent…

    6. Brent F. on May 22, 2007 12:22 am

Or he could be Batman and Bruce’s trusted go-to surgeon for severe injuries.

    7. Matthew Peterson on May 22, 2007 4:15 pm

Wait, I thought Anthony Michael Hall was playing Venom!

      Or the Chameleon?

    8. Brent F. on May 22, 2007 8:56 pm

      Wrong, he’s Keyser Söze.

I think he will be Jean Paul Valley, AKA Azrael from the comics.
