Platinum Studios dropped off the list of show exclusives and a programming schedule for its events at Wizard World LA (taking place this weekend).
Exclusives
KISS 4K
Platinum Studios Comics will be presenting two exclusives at this year’s convention: KISS Destroyer Edition and Hero By Night #1 Wizard World Los Angeles exclusive cover.
The limited edition KISS Destroyer Edition is the worlds largest comic book, and is debuting at Wizard World. The book tells the story of the transformation of Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and the other KISS band members from rock stars to world-protecting warrior spirits, and is the first branded property released by KISS Comics Group.
To celebrate the launch of this book, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley will be at the Golden Apple Booth (#707), at select times on Friday and Saturday to sign the book.
HERO BY NIGHT
Platinum Studios Comics is also proud to premiere Hero By Night #1, last year’s Comic Book Challenge winner. This book has an exclusive Wizard World Los Angeles Cover, featuring Hero By Night battling Saul Simian. The first of issue of the book will be at comic retailers on March 21st.
D.J. Coffman, the writer and artist of the book, along with colorist Jason Embury, will be at the Golden Apple booth to autograph copies of Hero By Night #1 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Special Event
Platinum Studios is sponsoring The DrunkDuck Pavilion in Artist Alley. This special section of the showroom will be dedicated to the artists on DrunkDuck.com. Platinum Studios is providing the tables at no cost to the artists to help them to promote their artwork.
