If you were blown away by the five minute preview of 300, Sony and NBC have teamed up to present a 7 1/2 minute sneak peek of Spider-Man 3. A much longer fight sequences between Peter Parker and Harry Osborn is seen, as well as a shot of giant Sandman and another of Venom.

If you want to download the high definition trailer yourself, you better hurry, it will only be online for 24 hours.

I think that Venom shot was just a CGI test. It looks a little, I dunno, unrealistic compared to the previously leaked trailer of him screaming like a tiger.

I think you got a screenshot from that leaked trailer. You should put it up as comparison.

I agree that Venom here looks really odd compared to the previous Venom shot I posted several months ago (http://www.majorspoilers.com/archives/493.htm). I don’t know which one is the test and which is the final. I have a feeling the image from the leaked story is the screen test.

One of the things that makes this image a bit odd is the capture was taken during a zoom in, which accounts for some of the blurring. I also think the symbiote is still attaching itself to Eddie which would account for the spiky parts all around.

Finally, since there is a move in on Venom in this shot, there is still time for the black goop to attach itself before reaching something that looks like my previous post.

Guess we’ll have to wait for May 4th to find out for sure, although personally I am really NOT digging the eyes and mouth of the Venom above.

Yep, I agree. Those teeth look like someone shoved shell into his mouth. Oh well, just have to wait and see. May the Fourth be with you…

Lovin’ Giant Sandman, though. Looks like a yellow, moody Godzilla.
