Top Cow has released cover images and solicitation information for titles shipping this May. I’ve been blown away by Paul Dini’s work on Detective Comics, now Top Cow has snagged him to write a brand new series – Madame Mirage. I’m sure the story will rock, but a big bonus is the art by Kenneth Rocafort. Plus there is another installment of Witchblade Manga coming this month as well.

Superstar writer Paul Dini (DETECTIVE COMICS, LOST) makes an explosive return to Top Cow in 2007 when he brings brand new character Madame Mirage to the Top Cow!

But who is this beautiful woman who appears out of the mist? As deadly as she is beautiful, she is cutting a bloody path through the city’s villains, who now wear suits and have “legitimate” businesses. But who is her ultimate prey? And how does this Mirage take form? And why is her destiny and that of her sidekick Harper so irrevocably entwined? These and many other questions will be asked along with the most pivotal question of all – Who is Madame Mirage?

Dini weaves a tale of murder, intrigue and revenge in a world of high-tech espionage and treachery. Joining Dini is rising artistic star, Kenneth Rocafort (HUNTER-KILLER) with his atmospheric and kinetic style. The first issue features two covers by sensual cover artist Greg Horn (SUPERMAN RETURNS, SHE-HULK) as well as a stunning cover by series artist Rocafort. Madame Mirage – you’ll never forget her… if you can make her acquaintance and live to tell the tale…
Oversized first issue featuring bonus additional pages of story and art!

THE DARKNESS Level series comes to a thundering conclusion! In this finale issue, Jackie accepts his birthright and the true power of The Darkness is revealed. Don’t miss the climactic battle between Jackie and his Uncle Paulie. Paulie murdered the woman Jackie loved and now Jackie is back to exact revenge as only the bearer of The Darkness can!

This special series, brought to you by THE DARKNESS video game/comic scribe Paul Jenkins and THE DARKNESS co-creator David Wohl, parallels the levels of the much anticipated video game by 2K Games, while bringing you original stories that show you a side of THE DARKNESS you’ve never seen. Joining Jenkins and Wohl, is the red hot art team of Michael Choi and colorist Sonia Oback fresh off their triumphant Marvel series X-23: TARGET X! Top Cow Productions and Bandai Entertainment proudly present a wholly unique interpretation of the WITCHBLADE mythos in this authentic manga. Takeru is an average schoolgirl being raised in a Buddhist monastery by a group of nuns. Average except for the mysterious demonic claw locked deep within the monastery which Takeru is irresistibly drawn to!

In this issue Takeru and Kuo reconcile and begin researching the lore surrounding the “Demon Claw”, the Witchblade. Their research is cut short when they encounter Kira, a powerful demon warrior! Originally serialized in Japan’s popular magazine, CHAMPION RED and written by WITCHBLADE ANIME head writer, Yasuko Kobayashi, this uniquely Japanese tale is collected for the first time in standard comic format and in glorious full color.

The result will be catastrophic—nothing will ever be the same again (really!) as the non-stop “Fundamentals of Fear” careens toward its jaw-dropping conclusion. We’re serious! In fact, tape your jaw up before you even pick this book up, or we won’t be responsible!
