Green Lantern Corps – The Television Show

    Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherDecember 26, 2006Updated:December 26, 20062 Comments1 Min Read

gardnerTV1.jpgNot a huge fan of Craigslist, but there’s a casting call for a television show called “The Corps.” The auditions are already over (December 20), but here is a rundown of the roles being cast.

    • John Stewart- (african american male, age 24-27). A SGT in the Marine Corps and just coming back from a trying tour in Iraq. Lead role.
    • Katma Tui- (asian or caucasian female, 25-30). A very attractive and sexy, yet militant operative and lead trainer in The Corps. Must be athletic. Lead role.
    • Addie Stewart- (african american female, 45-50’s). John’s mother who is dying of cancer. supporting role.
    • Hal Jordan- (caucasian male, 27-35). Former Air force pilot who is injured in a battle with an unknown evil, while on his way to recruit John Stewart. Reoccurring role.
    • Tyler- (any ethnicity male, 24-27). Serial killer, works as a hired gun for a local crime boss.
    • Erin Towers- (any ethnicity male, 24-27). Former Marine, John’s friend from boot camp.

The only thing that makes me question if this is the real deal, or just a fan film is the blatant NON-UNION requirements. And WTF? No Guy Gardner?

This is completly crap, ther is no GL TV series in the making. At DC NAtion Bristol the subject of a GL movie was discussed however, it’s not even in the development stage yet, so any rumors are completly usubstanciated!

Just to show the lack of creedence to these rumors, one of them stated that th movie would revolve around Alan Scott. However if they are going for a JLA movie, then tis would deffinatly be a step in the wrong direction.
