    Optimus Prime Leakage

Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherDecember 6, 20064 Comments1 Min Read

Someone embedded in Michael Bay’s production company has been leaking photos of the transforming cast of the Transformers Movie.  Jalopnik has posted CGI images of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and (sadly) Megatron.  Here’s just a snippet of the OP goodness.

Gotta say, I like what I’m seeing both for Prime and Bumblebee.  While Jalopnik claims these are from the inside, today with the piracy of 3D software, any kid could be making these and posting.  Still, with what we have seen before, I’m going to believe it.  Now if only the movie would be as good as the leaks, everything would be right with the universe.

Do you think “any kid” has the time and talent to do these?

Yeah it’s possible that someone with 3D software could do alot, but these are concurrent with what I’ve seen on other sites

Ok, so maybe not ANY kid, but someone with determination will certainly be able to do it. One of my students “obtained” a copy of Maya a few years ago, and I gave him one of my Gundam model kits to model. A weekend later, and boom – it was done. Not surprising – he’s now working as an animator on Transformers AND Iron Man. So when I see images like this, I believe they are real, but determination will go a long way!
