Recently, thanks to a challenge on Twitter, I have been investigating the trope of The Big Eater. Captain Marvelous once nearly put a curry place out of business, while Jughead Jones pretty much keeps Pops’ Chock’lit Shoppe IN business. As for Shaggy Rogers, I’ve literally seen him compress a sandwich as tall as he is (and he’s the tallest person in most episode of ‘Scooby Doo’ that isn’t a monster, ghost or Space Kook) and such it down in one sitting. I’m having sympathetic acid reflux just thinking about it, which leads us to today’s gourmand query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) always wonders how Weird Al Yankovic stays so thin, eating Twinkie Weiner sandwiches, opening his mouth and feeding it (*ripping guitar solo*), asking: Which fictional big eater is the biggest of all?

Scooby-Doo not only does he keep pace with Shaggy but he infacts steals Shaggys food.
Wimpy and Jughead tend to eat burgers I believe. Scooby-Doo will eat anything. Scooby-Doo by a mile.
